I miss attribute refund points and the original signet of capture....not

Off topic: A lot of the posts here are complaining about how degenerated the game has become and how it has lost its excitement or appeal. Chill out. This is why Anet are spending all this time and money on GW2. We all get to go back and be noobs all over again in the new game. Can't wait for that fresh newbie feel

The game before it was dumbed down to suit shoot 'em up players.

I miss that feeling of excitement while waiting for a new expansion to install. Can't even begin to explain how excited I was during the EotN preview weekend which was sadly tempered by it's shortness and totally offbeat nature compared to previous content. I also miss the old b/p teams and 4-4-4 Deep clears both of which I used to do purely for fun. Not that I can't appreciate the skill involved in current meta farms it's just that, for me, when you turn it into an Olympic track event you take some of the basic pleasure out of the game.

Pretty sure you meant FPS bro. Shmups = Gradius, G-Darius, Ikaruga, Blazing Star, Crisis Force, etc. etc. etc.
